We created Rokura from a simple belief:

Energy should feel calm.

Not anxious. Not rushed. Not followed by a crash.

Modern life pushes us to move faster, consume more, and constantly perform. Coffee became the default solution — but for many of us, it also became part of the problem.

The jitters. The afternoon crash. The overstimulation. The feeling of always running on empty.

Rokura was born from the search for something different.

Something slower. Something intentional. Something that supports focus without taking away calm.

The history of stone-ground tea is often simplified in modern narratives. While Japan later refined and preserved ceremonial tea rituals, the earliest foundations trace back to China during the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD). In the highlands of ancient China, tea leaves were first stone-ground into fine powder, forming the earliest expressions of what would later evolve into ceremonial tea culture.

We were drawn not only to the benefits of matcha, but to the deeper philosophy behind it — presence, balance, ritual, and simplicity.

Rokura is our interpretation of that ritual for modern living.

A daily reset. A cleaner kind of energy. A moment to slow down before stepping back into the noise.

We believe wellness doesn’t need to feel complicated. Sometimes it starts with one small shift. One better ritual. One calmer morning.
